The Ladies Tableegh Committee present Friday night programmes for 2013 at the Husaini Islamic Centre, starting this Friday, 11th January 2013:
* Qur’an Tajweed Classes: We will continue to hold our regular Friday Qur’an Recitation & Tajweed classes for boys aged 5 – 7 years old and girls aged 5 years and over, from 5:00pm – 6:00pm.
* Azadari Initiative: Girls aged 5 – 13 years are invited to attend Azadari Initiative sessions where they will have the opportunity to learn and practice marsiyas, nawhas and other recitations, from 6:00pm – 7:00pm every Friday.
* The Friday Project: In a parallel programme to the Azadari Initiative, the youth girls of our community (ages 14 – 18 years) are invited to attend ‘The Friday Project’ where there will be the opportunity to discuss, debate, learn new skills and take part in plays and various Islamic activities. These sessions will be held from 6:00pm – 7:00pm, every Friday commencing this week.
