It with great sadness that we bid farewell to the blessed month of Mahe Ramadhan with its multitude of blessings and we pray that Allah (swt) accepts our ‘saee’ during this holy month and that we are in receipt of His Baraka, Rehma and Maghfirah.
On this auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, I extend on my own behalf and on behalf of the office bearers most sincere Mubaraki to all members.
Alhamdulillah, the Mahe Ramadhan programmes went very well and we had good attendance throughout the month at various programmes held at our HIC centre. We are indebted to our resident Alim Sheikh Shahnawaaz and all the volunteers and sub committees for their tremendous efforts to make these programmes a success. May Allah (swt) grant them all Ajre Adheem.
We launched the Yemen relief fund during the month and Alhamdulillah we have collected £12,000 for covering the costs of one family for the forthcoming year. Please forward your funds so that we can help more.
The Al-Qaaem Project continues to progress at a steady pace but we are running out of funds and urgently need the remainder of just under one million to cover the whole cost of the project. We have now taken a loan from the bank of £600,000 and urgently need all members to do all that they can from themselves and their family and friends to cover the deficit.
We pray to Allah (swt) for all Mo’mineen all over the world who are in difficulties in one way or other and to hasten the reappearance of our living Imam Wali ul Asr Hujjat ibn al Hassan (ajtf).
