“Which is the best school for my child?”
“What is the process of getting my child into the school of my choice?”

These are but two of many questions a parent may have when considering a secondary school for a child.

The Education Committee is pleased to invite all parents of children currently in Years 5 and 6 in primary education to an information evening about the admissions arrangements and process in Peterborough.  The event will be held in the Upstairs Hall at the Husaini Islamic Centre on Friday 27th September 2013 from 7:30pm – 9:00pm.

The main speaker of the evening will be Ms Isabel Clark, Head of Assets and School Place Planning, Peterborough City Council.

We will also aim to share experience in possible ways to support you and your child to prepare for the transition from primary to secondary education.

The aim of the evening will be to:
·         explain the Admissions arrangements as overseen by Peterborough City Council
·         explain the Admissions process
·         provide an opportunity for parents to ask questions
·         share experience in possible ways to support your child in school

Ladies and gents seating will be segregated, normal Islamic attire is expected.
Light refreshments will be served.

If you are able to attend, please inform the Secretariat Team, Azmat Mavani or Mohamed Mavani, secretariat@mksipeterborough.org, to enable us to make appropriate catering provision.
