Husaini Islamic Centre, Peterborough for the first time ever in conjunction with all other major mosques of Peterborough worked together to organise a unique event to build bridges between Muslim community and people of different faiths.

The event took place over three days from 17th to 19th January, held at the Faizan-e-Medina Mosque, Gladstone Street.  The event had a themed exhibition featuring unique artefacts from across the Muslim world and through its history. This was also a unique opportunity for people of all faiths to learn more about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and for open dialogue with the Muslim Community. Other events included speeches from renowned scholars and local Imams and a Naat competition and we are proud to say that one of our boys Jaffer Abbas came third.

In addition there was interfaith event on the last day, inviting local from all over Peterborough to view the exhibition and listen to a speech by Imam Ajmal Mashroor on the 10 most significant legacies left by the Holy Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) for the world.
